I'm reading along with you, trying to decipher Coupland's apparently disjointed and scattered thoughts...
Woah. I didn't see that ending coming. I recently finished this alone in my apartment, on a drizzly day... and his writing startled me. I subsequently wandered down the bypass, purchasing some garlic and some vanilla's (current pleasures), cut my hair, and dressed up in slacks and a tie, all for no real reason I think. My poor wife...
