Sure, there are the drastic changes that happen when a baby suddenly introduces itself on your scene. Like we just rethought a camping trip in August that would have put us in a tent for six consecutive nights with a six month old. And it now takes us at least fourty minutes longer each time we make the twice weekly trip to see our "family" in Pasadena. And five movies a month is no longer feasible. Etc, etc, etc. But these are the changes I expected. Nobody told me that I'd start multi-tasking while brushing my teeth at night or that half the time I took a shower, I'd forget whether or not I washed my hair and do it twice in one go on several cleanings.
