- The art walk happens in our neighborhood on the second Thursday of every month. What started as a small event has turned into an all night affair. Art galleries open their doors for free, all the great LA food trucks flock to Main Street, musicians set up on every corner and even some of the Venice Beach/Farmers Market vendors make an appearance, selling hand made crafts and subversive art.
- This being our fourth go around the block, I finally managed to bring my camera and get some shots.

In Seattle this week, all three cousins unite for the first time.

Seattle

We spent four perfect days in Seattle visiting the Morgans and Usshers. Besides hanging out, grilling out daily and playing cards, we managed to squeeze in a Mariners game and an afternoon walking Downtown. Pictures of the three cousins, all together for the first time, can be seen here.

Paul and I rode the Metro to South Pasadena and picked up the bike path near the Arroyo Seco Park. The 2.4 mile concrete ride along the LA River winds past parks and neighborhoods until it finishes near Figueroa in Highland Park. We completed the last 8 miles through the streets of Highland Park, Montecito Heights and Downtown, finishing the morning off with some Breakfast at Phillipes.
