Kari and I made a major deal yesterday that will last for the next seven days.
SHE GETS: A daily seven minute massage. I GET: Free from doing dishes.
The following rules apply:
a. The massage will take place at the time it is asked for.
b. Dishes are to be done regularly, no end of day pile up.
c. No whining about dishes is allowed.
d. The massage has to be done with effort.
Who do you think got the better deal?

Definitely Kari with the massage. I'd rather do dishes then give massages and I'd take a 7 minute massage any day!
Hmmm, what kind of a trade could Dad and I do.
I'll be anxious to hear the week's end report.
ha ha...I love the part about the massage "having to be done with effort!" good stipulation. :)
kari got robbed. She should have negotiated for at least 15 minutes. I'd bet that Josh would have gone for it. Sorry Kari
There is a re-negotiating period on Wednesday. She's already hinting at more minutes. So thanks for that.
You got the WAY better deal. Dishes suck. I'd do way more than a daily 7 minute massage to get out of dishes for a week. (Get your mind out of the gutter.)
Devising a deal for Derek and me...
Kari TOTALLY got the better deal. I don't think dishes are that bad, and massages are the BEST!!! If you hate dishes that must though, I probably would've fought for more minutes too :)
Kari cashed in on this one... NO DOUBT! I mean, how hard can "dishes-for-2" be really???
I wouldn't give in to more minutes...
I agree with Clint... I don't mind doing dishes at all and I love massages. In fact I would do the dishes for as low as a 3 min massage.
Ha! Coincidentally, just tonight John decided that he would daily give me a three-minute backrub from now until when the baby arrives...
Now that I see Kari's getting seven minutes I wonder if I got jipped...then again, I didn't have to agree to do the dishes.
You might consider giving her a backrub whenever she asks for it, for about as long as she wants . . . always, and no conditions! She'll probably not abuse the privilege. My guess is, she deserves it.
